Norah really loved the fresh pasta we made...... Alex was a great helper and had a ton of fun rolling and cutting the pasta dough. Last night's dinner: fresh pasta and sauce and salad with ingredients from our garden.... Professional pasta drying station... Too much excitement for Norah.... The pesto we made on Saturday with the basil harvest.... Our tomatoes, garlic, oregano, thyme, and basil.... Our carrots that were in the salad with our tomatoes... Our onions and garlic that were hung and dried for a couple weeks and now ready to eat....
We needed to figure out why the toilet was wobbling..... very simple reason.... there was nothing holding it to the floor! The only thing that was keeping it in place was the wax ring and the weight of the toilet. Sam did a great job and thankfully was an easy fix. The prior owners of our house were not the best in fixing actual problems, but they were awesome at covering them up!
Sam worked really hard to get the old girl back to beautiful... nice job! He took her out for a test run yesterday and it went well so hopefully next time he and Alex can do some fishing.
We got these little pumpkin seedlings from friends at work and they turned into these giant monsters! Despite this giant beast of a plant, there is only one lone pumpkin growing. Cross your fingers that the chipmunks and squirrels don't discover it as they seem to have done a number on our cucumbers and even our little lemons! Alex is super excited about the pumpkin so we hope it lasts!
We went to my friend's daughter's 2nd birthday and had a great time. Alex was helpful when it was time for Hana to open her gifts.... Norah and the birthday girl.... Norah loved her first bite of cake... she also enjoyed the fork..... Chris giving Alex an absurd amount of cake and ice cream...... Alex wanted some cake really badly......
