Another look....

I had a second ultrasound today because they couldn't get a good picture of the umbilical cord last time because his/her leg was in the way. I'm happy to report that everything looks great! I must admit I was very tempted to find out the sex since I was there by myself this time, but I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it from Sam so it's still a surprise to me! I think he/she looks like Alex though so we'll just have to wait and see ;)

The Browns Visit

Chris, Anna, and little Kyle came to visit us this weekend from Maine and we had a great time! The boys played outside in the beautiful weather together in the yard and at the playground. They woke up early together and watched Thomas and read books and they were so cute! We hope they can come visit us again soon!

A nice idea....

So I don't have cute Alex pictures to share today, but I wanted to share a website with all the ladies. I recently decided that I wanted to donate my wedding dress. I love my dress, but I felt bad that it was just sitting in the closet and I never saw it. So, I decided to pass it along to someone who could get more use out of it and help out a great cause. I looked online and found this:

Click on 'donate a gown' on the left sidebar to get all the information.
Think about it!

Mother's Day weekend

We had a very nice weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. Danielle babysat Alex on Saturday night and we went out to dinner for my birthday and it was wonderful. Sam and his Dad worked on the deck and also got some mulch for the gardens. Grandma helped with some painting and some yard work. Alex was very excited to play in Grandpa's truck. Auntie Joel got him a Red Sox hat and he loves it! Alex was a very good boy yesterday and that was the best Mother's Day gift he could have given me!

Imagination Island

Today was a rainy day so we decided to try out an indoor playground called Imagination Island. The first thing we saw when we walked in was a train table full of Thomas and Friends and Alex pretty much played with that for the first 30 minutes. Then he got a little adventurous and decided to branch out and see what else was going on - he had a blast! There were cars and bubbles and slides and blocks and a tunnel... he made it about and hour and a half and then he put his head down on a mat and said he was sleepy. So that was our clue to head home for lunch. He fell asleep in the car on the way home and never did take a nap, but we had a great day!

We made it!

So I'm officially 20 weeks in and halfway through my pregnancy - whew! For the record, my belly is much bigger this time than it was with Alex. This isn't the most flattering picture, but we were at Imagination Island, an indoor playground, surrounded by a bunch of screaming kids running around so I wasn't at my best!

Mass Destruction....

So as you can see, we have a bit of a squirrel issue. I threw a rock at him today and lucky for him I have lousy aim.... but I'm practicing! By the way, we threw that first cushion away from the earlier pictures - these are the second and third that were attacked.
