Gramma's Birthday!

On Saturday night we all gathered to celebrate Gramma's birthday and we had so much fun! Alex was running around like a maniac so I didn't relax much until the wonderful and generous Aunt Linda offered to take Alex home so we could stay and enjoy dinner. So awesome! Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!

Fun with Uncle Jon!

As you know, Alex loves tools so he was completely enthralled with Uncle Jon's shop and they had fun playing together. He also loved Uncle Jon's blue truck... and Uncle Lewis's green truck.. and Grampa's black truck....

More fun with Gramma!

It was cold, but we had a lot of fun playing outside. We went to the playground and then when we went to collect greens for wreath making, Alex really wanted to follow Gramma up into the woods.

Are you cracking up?

I'm thinking that this will be our Christmas card this year...what do you think?

Chainsaw!

Alex had so much fun with the toy chainsaw and decided he needed to cut everything in sight - including the bunny that Great Grammy gave him!

More Boats!

Alex had so much fun outside with all the boats!

Captain Alex

Alex loved to play in Grammy and Grampy's boat! It is hunting season so we had to make sure that we were always wearing something orange while we were outside.

Rockin' Out!

We went to Maine to visit Gramma and Grampa for the holiday and they had so many fun things to play with!

Alex vs. Coffee Table

Alex had a little accident on the Monday night before Thanksgiving. He tripped on the rug and did a flying leap and met the table with his head. Not good, but nothing a little glue and a lot of screaming couldn't fix at the doctor's office. He was fine in about 5 minutes, but Mommy took about 4 days to stop crying about it... and she almost passed out at the doctor's office when it was all over. He's happy and healthy and if he has a little scar from it he'll have a good story to tell when he's older!

Rainy Day

We had a rainy day a while back and so we did some chores inside. Alex helped me with the laundry and then had a wonderful time playing with the drying rack.

Our little carpenter...

Alex just can't get enough of Daddy's tools down in the basement. He loves to stand the drills up by color and then lay them down again. He really knows how to use them and can change the bits and everything - amazing child. Carpentry certainly runs in the Kelsey genes! I tried to tell Alex that Daddy probably doesn't want him to drill the concrete walkway. The first picture is just such a cute one of him with his blanket and cup of cereal watching Word World yesterday morning. He's too fun!

Window is finished!

Alex was a good helper and we managed to get the new window all repaired and the trim put on. It even got a coat of primer last night. Gramma was a big help too!

Grandmothers to the rescue!

Daddy was at a conference for 5 days last week so both grandmothers came to help out and it was wonderful! Mimi was here for the beginning of the week and then she had double duty to watch Evan for the end of the week. Then, Gramma came and spent the end of the week and also got to stay and watch Alex's last swim lesson. He got a ribbon for finishing his class! Thank you both for all your help!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!

Mimi got to take part in the craziness that was Halloween last night because she was watching Alex yesterday while he was home sick with a fever and a cough. He was in very good spirits for not feeling well and he was loving all the Halloween decorations and lights around people's houses. It took a little bit of tempting with M&M's, but we eventually got him into his costume. Thank you to Gramma and Grampa for sending Alex the wonderful puppy costume! He's been sleeping with it like a stuffed animal ever since it arrived in the mail. He loved that everyone was knocking on our door last night and he got to see tons of kids and was so excited! He kept saying Trick or Treat every time anyone came to our door and it was so cute! We went through 3 huge bags of candy and we shut our door by 8:45 with about 6 pieces left in the bowl so that was good. We made it!
