after our hike we went to the Petersham General Store as we hear they made awesome sandwiches.
They weren't wrong! The food was excellent and they had a cute store as well. I fell in love with all these wonderful clocks. They also had this fun, old phone on the wall.
They were having a Christmas craft fair in here so we poked around
this is the library
We popped into the Historical Society and found out some really cool things about the town.
they also had an awesome phone
and an even more awesome switchboard!
beautiful old, square piano
After the town tour, we went to the Harvard Forest Fisher Museum.
They had these amazingly intricate dioramas about the history of the forest from when it was cleared for farming and then they reintroduced certain species for specific needs. I took these pictures mostly for Norah because I knew she would appreciate how much time and detail went into making just one of the trees in these dioramas - there were thousands of trees!
After the museum, we went to Stone Cow Brewery and had a pint or 2, enjoyed the scenery and the animals!
cutest piggy tail!
After the brewery, we came back to the Inn to shower and enjoy an amazing dinner!
