A Day out with Thomas!

Mimi, Alex, Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Joel, Uncle Brad, and Cousin Evan all went to Edaville Railroad yesterday to see Thomas the Tank Engine! We had so much fun and the weather was perfect! We had lunch and heard a story and listened to music and saw Sir Topham Hat and Percy and got to ride the train pulled by Thomas!

Tricycle Fun!

It was so nice last night that we brought out the tricycle and Alex was having a great time! We left it in the living room last night when we brought it in and he thought it was wonderful at 5:45 this morning.

Hippy Boy!

Don't I look cool today?

Dinner helper

Alex did a great job shucking the corn for dinner the other night and then he did an even better job eating it! He decided he needed to have a snack of frozen blueberries before dinner and he turned into a purple monster!

Home Improvements

Grandma and Grandpa came down from Maine last weekend and helped us out a lot (as usual). We got our last 2 new windows installed and a lot of progress on the shingles at the back of the house. We also had a lot of fun! Daddy's been doing a row of shingles every night after work so it's slow, but it's coming along great!

Water Boy

Alex was helping me water the garden last night and he loved when I sprayed him - until I made him come in and change because he was shivering.

All American Boy

I just had to get some pictures of Alex the other morning because he was dressed in red, white, and blue with his Red Sox hat on and he just looked an all-American boy sitting with his Teddy and his digger and playing in the sandbox - too cute!

Cool Dude!

Brian brought these sunglasses back from England for me a few years ago and Alex thought they were the coolest! Thanks, Uncle Bubba!

Work on the deck

Sam and his Dad have been working on the shingles at the back of the house. Alex loves to help! The project was slightly delayed when Sam had a little "incident" at the Home Depot trying to buy more shingles and he ripped his hand open on the metal strapping around the bundle and ended up at the emergency room with 4 stitches. All better now though! Forward progress!

Weekend Fun

Marcus and Meghan came for a visit down from Boston the other weekend. We started off the weekend with waffles (Alex is a very good helper) and we had beautiful weather so we enjoyed our time on the deck. Alex got to wear his shirt from Jamaica that Uncle Wally gave him. No Problem, Mon!

Another look....

I had a second ultrasound today because they couldn't get a good picture of the umbilical cord last time because his/her leg was in the way. I'm happy to report that everything looks great! I must admit I was very tempted to find out the sex since I was there by myself this time, but I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it from Sam so it's still a surprise to me! I think he/she looks like Alex though so we'll just have to wait and see ;)

The Browns Visit

Chris, Anna, and little Kyle came to visit us this weekend from Maine and we had a great time! The boys played outside in the beautiful weather together in the yard and at the playground. They woke up early together and watched Thomas and read books and they were so cute! We hope they can come visit us again soon!
