I'm not sure what he was doing, but I was very grateful he was entertained while I was making dinner last night. Sam had been working on installing a new railing to the basement so Alex was playing with the drill and started collecting things into a "nest" for himself. He never goes anywhere without Teddy! I'm not sure why, but he always seems to make the same scowl face whenever I try and get a picture... do you think he's trying to tell me something?
We had a very fun Easter at Mimi's for the weekend and got to see the whole family. The Easter bunny came and brought goodies for Alex and Evan and he also hid some eggs outside and the boys got all sorts of treats! We gave Evan our old potty and he got the idea right away! Uncle Wally brought GIANT chocolate bunnies for the boys and so far we have managed to keep it hidden from Alex and will only reveal when absolutely necessary. I also had a wonderful outfit for Alex from Melanie's little brother's stash of old clothes from the 80's - he looks like a wedding singer and it was fabulous! Thanks Mel!
Gramma and Grampa gave Alex these wonderful froggie boots for Valentine's Day! He loves them and wants to wear them all the time - even at bedtime while Daddy is reading to him.
Here's a bunch of pictures of Alex doing some of his favorite things. He wanted to have a picnic with Teddy in the kitchen. He loves to go for a walk in the stroller with Dad. He loves to play with the drill. And he loves to build things with his Legos!
This was Alex's third and final birthday party with his RI friends. They had so much fun playing together and Alex loved all his presents! Savanah loved the chocolate cupcakes too! Mimi gave Alex an air mattress and sleeping bag so he can have a fun bed when he stays over. We blew it up and Stella wanted to take a nap in it so Savanah decided to read her a story - too cute! Evan was showing off his belly and also his very cute PB&J face!

Alex had some serious bed-head this morning and wouldn't let me comb it. As you can tell, he also wasn't enthused about having to look away from Thomas on the TV so we could take a picture. Great Uncle Wally gave Alex this dump truck for his birthday and he just can't get enough of it. He also took a trip to Jamaica and brought back this wonderful hat for Alex that he loves! That face is precious!
Alex turned 2 years old on Sunday and he had a great party with all his friends! Thank you to everyone who could come and help us celebrate! Also, thanks to Bill and Julie for the pictures!
Alex was having fun with the finger paints the other day. I drew him some snakes and he wanted to paint them. Unfortunately, it didn't hold his interest long enough for me to finish getting dinner ready, but that's ok!
We were in Maine this weekend to celebrate Alex's 2nd birthday with Gramma and Grampa and Uncle Jon and Aunt Jess. We had yummy cake and fun presents! Thank you!!!!!
