Martha's Vineyard Wedding

Our college friend, Nancy, got married out on Martha's Vineyard on Saturday and the day was perfect! We took the ferry over to Oak Bluffs in the morning and Alex loved the boat! We met another college friend, Staci, out there and had lunch and walked around town and then all got ready for the wedding at their hotel. The wedding took place at the Gay Head Lighthouse and then there was a reception at the Atria Restaurant in Edgartown. We caught the ferry back after dinner and it was a wonderful day. Congratulations Nancy & Derek!

Block Party!

Our neighbors hosted a block party on Wed night and we all had such a great time. All the kids were really excited about it. We had great weather, great food, and a lot of laughs. It was a struggle to get Alex to come in for bed because he was having so much fun, but I can't blame him for that. Can't wait for the next one!

Early Morning Snuggle

Alex was very comfy watching Thomas first thing the other morning and snuggling with Ice Bat. Like his tattoo on his arm? It is Rosie the train from our Edaville adventure and he loves it! I just hope he's not too sad when it finally comes off.

Family Cookout

After a wonderful afternoon at Edaville, we all came back to our house, the boys took a nap, we enjoyed some drinks out on the deck, then we had a yummy BBQ followed by watching an episode of Thomas and having some ice cream. The boys sat together mesmerized as they watched Thomas on the TV. Thanks for a wonderful day!!!!

A Day out with Thomas!

Mimi, Alex, Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Joel, Uncle Brad, and Cousin Evan all went to Edaville Railroad yesterday to see Thomas the Tank Engine! We had so much fun and the weather was perfect! We had lunch and heard a story and listened to music and saw Sir Topham Hat and Percy and got to ride the train pulled by Thomas!

Tricycle Fun!

It was so nice last night that we brought out the tricycle and Alex was having a great time! We left it in the living room last night when we brought it in and he thought it was wonderful at 5:45 this morning.

Hippy Boy!

Don't I look cool today?

Dinner helper

Alex did a great job shucking the corn for dinner the other night and then he did an even better job eating it! He decided he needed to have a snack of frozen blueberries before dinner and he turned into a purple monster!

Home Improvements

Grandma and Grandpa came down from Maine last weekend and helped us out a lot (as usual). We got our last 2 new windows installed and a lot of progress on the shingles at the back of the house. We also had a lot of fun! Daddy's been doing a row of shingles every night after work so it's slow, but it's coming along great!

Water Boy

Alex was helping me water the garden last night and he loved when I sprayed him - until I made him come in and change because he was shivering.
