Holiday Weekend!

We had a great time at Mimi's over the long weekend. Daddy and Uncle Teddy won a golf tournament Friday night and then after swimming, Alex and I met them at Mimi's. Uncle Maurice and Aunt Dim were visiting so we celebrated Great Grandpa's birthday a little early. We had beautiful weather and tons of fun with the family!

Nice Walk

Daddy and Uncle Brad took Alex and Evan on a nice walk down the street to give Mommy and Auntie Joel some time to make an apple pie for Great Grandpa's birthday party.

Alex had so much fun at Mimi's house playing with all the cars and trucks!

We took Alex to a farm in Jamestown on Saturday and he picked out his very own pumpkin (punkin)!

Every night before bedtime, Alex and Daddy read books together and the both have a wonderful time.

Daddy's pants

These pants belonged to Daddy when he was a kid. They have some balloons stitched on one pocket and the other pocket has "SAM" on it. Too cute! Alex is finally tall enough to wear them. His favorite book is 'Cars, and Trucks, and Things that Go' and he LOVES to find Goldbug!!!

Alex is learning so much from watching the older boys and he's almost ready!

Melanie's Visit

I took Alex to swimming lessons on Saturday because Daddy went diving with Melanie and some other friends from our old apartment, Stace and Ann. Afterwards, Melanie stayed and hung out and she and Alex were having fun playing outside together. Alex loves to play on the skate ramps the kids have built. He also loves Melanie's white car for some reason.

Chilly Weather

On Saturday morning we woke up and it was a bit chilly so we decided it was the perfect time to break out the robe and slippers! Great Grammy Kelsey gave Alex this robe for his birthday and Mimi got him the slippers. He loves them! He looks like such a little man now.

Sleep over!

Alex and I spent the night and I watched the kids while Lauren and Dave got to enjoy a night out for their anniversary. Despite the fact that Alex is not feeling well, they a ton of fun together and neither of them napped so they went to bed early and with no trouble - yeah!

Apples, Apples, and more Apples!

After swimming on Saturday, Alex and I went to visit Lauren, David, and Stella. We went apple picking and we had a great time!

Alex loves to play with the bubbles in the tub... or maybe it is really Mommy that loves it!

Swimming!!!!!!!

Alex started swimming lessons on Saturday morning and he had a great time! Well, he had a great time in the pool for about 10 of the 30 minutes until he said "all done" and then spent the other 20 minutes running around outside the pool throwing toys in the water. I just went to this lesson to take some pictures because this is a Daddy and Alex thing - maybe he would have stayed in the pool longer if I hadn't been there. Well, they have 7 more classes to practice!

Mimi is watching Alex for a couple days and last night Daddy, Mimi, and Alex were finding all the fun tools in this catalog. Alex loves to point out the drill, shop vac, pliers, chainsaw, etc. He even learned some new ones like chopper/shredder!
