Pumpkin Carving
Alex had a great time carving the pumpkin last night with Daddy. He wanted a scary face but when Daddy drew lots of faces, this is the one he picked. He loved the pumpkin saw and enjoyed stabbing the pumpkin with it - he also thought the inside was yucky! Norah and I just sat back and watched the show.

TGIF!!!!
We had a very fun morning full of activities. First, we played on Norah's gym mat and Alex decided it made a cool backpack. He wanted to snuggle up with his little Sis. Thanks to Emily & Chris for the adorable giraffe onesie! Next, we went to the farm again and saw all Alex's favorite animals, but I think he had more fun playing in the dirt in the garden. He also had fun with the last of the pumpkins for sale (you can see why they were left behind as they are looking a bit rough) and he had to play on the little calf on the way out. Then, we headed to the playground and I showed him the baseball diamond, we played on some rocks, then we decided to play on the actual playground and had a wonderful time!

Minor Boo Boo
Alex was helping me mail some thank you cards and decided to jump up while standing under the mailbox. So, he not only cracked his head on the wood under the mailbox, but did an immediate face plant into the driveway. He got a mouth full of dirt, a bump on his forehead, and several scratches, but it was nothing a popsicle couldn't cure! We ended up having a lovely day despite the incident and enjoyed our grilled cheese out on the deck in the sunshine. The next day we all went to Mimi's house and had a great time, and then last night Alex was lounging on Daddy with is feet up. I think he'll survive!
Saturday with the Family
We went to Mimi's for the day on Saturday and Norah got to finally meet her Uncle Teddy and her Great Uncle Wally. Great Grandpa had a tough time putting Norah down - he just loves to hold her! Alex had a blast running around with Cousin Evan and then we had pizza together for dinner and came home. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Lil' Pumpkin
We went to the playground yesterday and Alex had fun playing in the sand with his trains and loved when I pushed him super high on the swing! We would have stayed longer, but he decided to wipe the rain water off the slide with his pants and got soaked so we went home to change and then played in the yard with the neighbors. Norah looked so cute in her new hat that Grandma knitted for her - thanks Grammy! Oh, and like the Red Sox pacifier... Go Sox!
