Fun with Daddy

After Alex hung out in his "tent" he and Daddy had some fun snuggle time the other night as we enjoyed the nice weather on the deck before dinner.

Pretty Nature

These were 2 beautiful flowers at the petting zoo and the mushroom was growing in our neighbors yard - I thought it was pretty cool because it was huge!

Petting Zoo

We had a fun morning at the petting zoo and it was a beautiful day! We saw sheep, goats, a cow, pigs, chickens, and bunnies! Alex liked the chickens the best so we visited the coop many times. There was one brave (or foolish) chicken that came out of the coop and Alex had fun chasing around.

Crazy Weather!

We had a very impressive storm yesterday which brought some serious rain, thunder, lightening, and hail! As it was still pouring down rain, the sun was coming out and very briefly we saw a gorgeous rainbow. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a picture of it because it was raining so hard.

Finished!!!!!!!!!!!

Daddy and Grandpa plowed through the morning and after lunch they finished the shingles!!! So wonderful to have it finished ahead of schedule. They are leaving the scaffolding to work on some of the rotten trim at some point. Awesome job!!!

A Nice Walk.....

Alex and I took Teddy on a walk to the beach on Saturday and we had fun throwing rocks in the water and enjoyed one of the oatmeal raisin cookies we made that morning.

Shingles Update

Daddy is doing a great job replacing the shingles at the back of the house and I think he'll reach his goal of finishing before the baby arrives.....with Alex's help of course!

Friday Farewell

We went to a farewell party for our friend Clara who is leaving MBL and we had a great time! Before the party we met Uncle Bubba at Wood Neck beach and played for a bit and found some jelly fish and some cool shells!

Brian came over the other night and watched Alex for a couple hours so Daddy and I could have a night out. They had a blast and so did we! They had dinner, then Alex showed Uncle Bubba where the frog pond was, and then they had ice cream! Thanks so much!!!!!!
