Christmas 2008!

The Morning After.....

So far, the only casualty was our clothesline and hopefully when the snow melts we won't discover any roof damage from the branch that hit it. The birds were happy to have some food and I got a picture of a very pretty wren. Alex was having a blast in the snow again this morning!

A Little Excitement!

We only got about 6 inches of snow but it was very wet and heavy stuff. We lost 3 big pine branches. The biggest one fell across the deck (thankfully not breaking our glass table), another fell in the side yard, and the third we discovered on the roof this morning. I think we were the only house in the neighborhood to lose trees... just lucky I guess!

While Alex and Daddy were out playing in the snow, Norah and I had some fun together too!

The First Big Storm

Alex was excited for the snow last night and got to wear his snowsuit! It was very windy and he had very red cheeks when he came inside.

O Christmas Tree.....

We decorated the tree and then Alex enjoyed some ice cream with Daddy!

The first snowfall of the season!

The boys were very excited to wake up to snow on Sunday morning at Mimi's house. We made (and smashed) a few snowmen, ate some snow, and ran around getting really cold since we didn't have our boots with us. We decorated Mimi's tree and it looked beautiful! Alex was supposed to be napping, but when I went to check on him he was playing with toys and was wearing my winter hat - he's such a goof!
