Fun with Mimi and Mema
Alex was lucky to have both his grandmothers watch him last week. Mimi had the first shift and they had fun blowing bubbles and playing in the yard with all the neighbors. Evan came down on Tuesday and when I got home we all went for ice cream - yummy! Gramma (Mema) had the second shift and took Alex to the beach and he had a wonderful time. She even watched Alex so Sam and I could go out to dinner and we had a nice stroll around the park in Plymouth which ended at a pub so we just had to stop in for a beer. Thank you Moms!

EPG Summer Outing
My company has it's summer outing yesterday in Duxbury at the summer home of my boss. We were right on the beach, had a catered BBQ lunch, the weather was perfect, and we had a great time! My co-workers all loved Alex of course and I was glad everyone finally got to meet my family. We had such a great afternoon, but then when we got home we had a little drama. Alex ended up with a little sunburn under his eyes, fell while playing on the deck and chipped a tooth, then we pulled a tick off him while he was in the tub - ugh. Rough time but we're recovering. According to the doctor, nothing to worry about. Being responsible for another human being is a very tough job!
Boats and Babies!
Daddy insited we had to get Alex out in the boat at least once so we went for a little cruise in the Whaler. I should have stayed on land because I was feeling a bit ill - hopefully Alex will not have my sea sickness issue! He loved the boat ride, but wasn't thrilled about the life jacket.
On our way back home we stopped in Portland to visit Chris and Anna and see little Kyle. So cute and getting so big! It was very tough to get Alex to sit still long enough for a picture with Kyle, but we tried. He was very excited to play with all of Kyle's toys and to run around the house. It also gave Chris and Anna a taste of things to come!

Fun with the Cousins
Alex... I mean Peaches had a great time playing with his cousins Kelsey and Sydney. They brought out a pile of Teddy Bears at Linda and Lewis' after the calm bake, then we went to the beach together and all had a great time! When I was pregnant with Alex we asked the cousins if they thought it was going to be a boy or a girl and what name they wanted. They decided it had to be Peaches no matter what!
